A young talented Melbourne group created NuTeez, an online store with streetwear and 'underground' fashion garments from young local designers. Their simple motto - 'to stop people wearing the same clothes as the dude standing next to them'. Worth an online shopping spree - their site is full of great stuff from Melbourne designers like Chapter 11. Love.

And now she's set for her very own solo exhibition project "Extinction in Technicolour" opening this weekend. With Vexta, it's all about paintbrushes, spraycans, acrylics and pens. We have a secret obsession for Fiorina Jewellery. Adorned with antique coins, skulls, tassels and pearls, all Fiorina pieces are gorgeous to wear. They're also created by hand and part of limited edition collections. We especially love the Angel Bracelets. Layer them in different colours and choose from different charms like dragons, guitars, coins and horses.

So of course we have to tell you about The Cupcake Queens from Collingwood, who are opening a store in Williamstown this May. Each cupcake is formed in small batches, made by hand and baked with love. They also source local produce and suppliers. It's all very yummy. Love.

When Neo Tokyo approached WSPA after becoming aware of the plight of the bears farmed for their bile throughout the world, they made their commitment to ending the cruelty and injustice of animals all over the world. Since then, what they've done is truly inspirational for all Melbournians - by combining a fashion label with charity. Purchase their products and you can help raise funds for several anti-animal cruelty campaigns like the Whale Campaign and Orangutan Campaign. Love.

Melbourne has fallen for Scrumptious Production's collection of gorgeous earrings, bracelets, rings, headbands, bangles and necklaces. It's all created by super talented Kirsteene Phelan, who got bored with her job in 2007, and started making a range of lolly-like accessories instead. Every piece uses vintage components. We especially love the Queen of Hearts necklace.
